The PLIDA (Progetto Lingua Italiana Dante Alighieri) is an official certificate issued by the Società Dante Alighieri under an agreement with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The PLIDA is recognised by the Italian Ministry of Labour and Social Policies and by the Italian Ministry of University and Research as a qualification that attests proficiency in Italian as a foreign language on a 6-level scale (from A1 to C2) according to the criteria established by the Common European Framework for Languages.
In addition, the PLIDA B1 level fulfills the requirement recently introduced by the Italian Government to foreigners applying for the Italian Citizenship.
Until 2018, the exams were held at The University of Manchester. For this year, there are talks between our HQ in Rome and a University in England. We hope to be able to indicate soon the exact venue for the exams to be held in the Autumn Session.
The level assessment test for enrolling to the B1 preparation course will be held on Tuesday 16th April 2019 at 2.30PM
Venue: Cross Street Chapel, Cross Street, Manchester M2 1NL
Please confirm your attendance to firstname.lastname@example.org in order to prepare enough material for all participants.
The B1 course will start on Tuesday 30th April at 2.00pm
